PCOMP RC Hot Rod · Thursday May 2, 2002
Physical Computing is one of the foundation classes at ITP and for me it has been the most challenging, yet rewarding. We’ve been working with the BasicX microcontroller all semester and for my final project I decided to work on a radio controlled hot rod. It’s a bit juvenile, but I don’t care, I wanted to have fun with it. And I had to learn a lot about wireless to make it all work. I started off by hacking a K’nex kit. Above is a video of the car’s first test drive, mostly crashing actually. You can see my complete documentation here.
